All you need to navigate this web site is in top of every page:

The main information about your FSN account
Some time, for some changes to show here (per example a level change) you will need to logout and login again.

An extended menu from where you can find some other important functions such as changing language or your location
Customize your profile
You can make all the changes you want to your profile from the profile page itself.
You can post pictures, videos, text, change colors, view other members comments
Your Location
Selecting your location is very important, and it is one of the first things you should do.
You can do it from the drop down menu:
Member Menu -> Your Location
You will appear on the search pages only when you have selected a location

1) Select your country and write the name of your town
Then click the button Search Location
2) Once the map appears, you can scroll and zoom into it until you are in the general area of the place where you live.
you DO NOT need to be too precise: general location will be enough.
At this point you can click on the Next button.
It can take some time to load the location data, in some cases you can get an error message if the web site from where we get the geodata is congested or slow. In that case you can close the modal window and try a bit later
Once the data is loaded, you can select fron the drop down the best location for you and click on the Save this Location button to save the data. |
FSN Web Sites & Channels
FreeStyle Networks is divided in channels, and the channels are divided into many different web sites
Every channel covers a specific area of interest: teens sites will be in the teens channel, golf sites in the sports channel and so on.
Once you are a FSN member you can join any channel you like and create a profile there. Once you have created a profile in a channel, you can use it (and update it) from any web site in the same channel.
Per example if you join the Italian teens web site you can just log in in any othe teen site in the world and still use your profile, your contacts, etc.
Some channels have age and/or gender limits
In those channels most content and interaction will be limited to members with a FSN Level (see below) 3 or higher, that is members who have confirmed their age and gender with FSN administrators.
FSN Levels
Levels are a very important part of FreeStyle Networks structure.
On the Internet it is very easy to create a fake identity, and it is very difficult to know if the profile you are looking at or the person you are chatting to is really the person you think he or she is.
On FSN when you look at a profile you can know if a profile is reliable or not by checking the FSN level. The higher is the level the most reliable is the profile
FSN Level 1
This is the basic entrance level. People who just joined FSN will have this level.
FSN Level 2
This is the second basic level. The get this level you need to have at least one complete profile (including a validated picture) in one of the FSN Channels.
FSN Level 3
To get this level you need a webcam interview with one of FSN administrators fo confirm your gender and age.
FSN Level 4
To get this level you need to be part of a FSN Family and meet in person a member Level 6 or higher.
FSN Level 5 and higher
You can get a level higher than 4 if you are very active in the FSN structure.
Decision on who can get a higher level are taken on individual basis.
Special FSN Levels
FSN Level 15 is reserved to the FSN President only.
FSN Level 14 is reserved to the FSN Master Of The Horse only.
FSN Level 13 is reserved to members of the FSN Government.
FSN Level 12 is reserved to members of the FSN Senate and High Council.
FSN Level 11 is reserved to members of the FSN Popular Assembly.
What are Teens Points?
Teens Points are a way to see how active a member is in the FSN System.
You can not buy Teens Points, you only get them from some activities in the web site.
How to get Teens Points?
There are many ways to get Teens Points, per example creating photo albums and writing on your blog.
How to use Teens Points?
Teens Points are automatically detracted when you use services that require them, per example sending messages or gifts.
In some cases you only need to have (not to spend) a certain amount of Teens Points for some special activities (per example to found a new family).
Why you need Teens Points?
Teens Points are used to make sure that only members really active can use some services and avoid spam.
Per example you can not send spam messages to many members if you need to pay for every single one of them.
